Don’t be fooled by the name — Brew City Robotics isn’t just a robotic solutions provider. We design and build custom machines as well. We specialize in semi-automatic and fully automatic assembly, thermal fastening, non-thermal fastening, and inspection machines. We also design and install retrofits for existing machines, and fixtures for a variety of applications.

Our process for all projects

Six phases, applied the same way to every job — so you always know what has been agreed, what is being built, and what gets handed over.

Identify

Discuss the customer’s needs or problem in an initial meeting and request for quote (RFQ).

Analyze

Site survey, request deliverables (customer-supplied information), and generate a quote with a preliminary concept.

Design

Once the customer accepts the preliminary design and quote with a down payment, we begin final design of the system and create the project schedule. Before construction begins we hold a design review with the customer to catch any changes or missing functionality.

Develop

Parts are ordered, and the factory automation is built and set up on our shop floor for testing.

Test

Once the machine is built and operational we run no fewer than 150 actual parts (customer supplied) before shipment — the Final Acceptance Test, or FAT. After signed acceptance the equipment is partially disassembled and shipped to the customer’s site, along with as-built documentation: drawings, programs, operator’s manual, bill of materials, and recommended spare parts.

Implement

Installation and commissioning at the customer’s site, ending in a Site Acceptance Test at full production rates. Once the equipment runs at rate we provide operator and maintenance training, update all documentation to as-installed status, and send the final package. The customer signs off and the job is complete unless a maintenance contract is purchased.
